what to do with so much leftover pie?

This week:
1. Leftover PIE! A lot of it!
2. Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain. With predicted snow on Wednesday.
3. Final crits!

Wish me luck on conquering all of the above...especially all of the leftover pie! Many exciting things will be popping up here once the final crits are over, I promise (probably should be more concerned about that than the pie, actually)!

I second that, Sarah! I also am intrigued to hear about the snow forecast! Up here in New England, we're been having a very mild week.

A Spaniard told me last week that pecan pie was the absolute best thing they tried at Thanksgiving dinner!

I will get back to you soon--I've been really busy with a visitor. But, there are a few free days coming up next week so if I don't get back to you this weekend, you'll still be hearing from me soon :)

Sarah, Tamara, and Casey, I am sitting here at my kitchen table now. I just got home and the first thing I did was grab a piece of pecan pie! There are two slices left as well as two apple. They're being refrigerated so I'm hoping they'll stay good a few more days.

Tamara, the snow in the forecast disappeared from the time I went to sleep last night to the time I woke up this morning! I was almost a little disappointed because part of me is still the Southerner who marvels at the sight of a snowflake. But any part of me that has converted to being a Midwesterner over the past 14 months was SO excited to see sunshine and no snow today! There will be plenty of snow in my near future...

Casey, take your time & I look forward to hearing from you soon!!

Yum! I could also go for some leftover pie...maybe seeing some of your photos from final crit would suffice? Will you be showing us some of your work?

Maeg, I will be posting some photos of my work hanging in my studio after my critique tomorrow! I've been saving most of my new work over the past few months so that it would be a surprise!

Sarah, Thank you so much! I will be sure to pass it along!

Joanne, Diverting my attention seems like a good way not to be stressed...and what better thing to focus on than pie! haha
