progress report!!

Millie "helping" me write my thesis.

I just sent the first draft of my thesis to my advisor!!!!!

It felt SO good to press send!

It is not as long as my goal, BUT it's longer than the minimum requirement, and I still have several things to add for draft 2! So I think when all is said and done everyone will be perfectly okay with my page count.

Now to get all my new images ready for my review on Monday! It's going to be a long weekend but I feel relieved to have this big step out of the way!

Yay! Congrats. I'm still having trouble commenting on your posts, though.

Thanks, Maeg! Yeah, this is getting really annoying! The problem was resolved for one day before returning...I didn't tinker with anything so I don't know what has happened. I've changed my comments settings to take users to a separate page to comment until I can figure out the problem, and it seems to work now. Let me know if it works from your end?

Congratulations!! You rock!!

For commenting, I was totally having the same problems with blogger so I installed Disqus. I've been using it since October and love it. Have never had anyone tell me they can't comment. The only glitch I've noticed (it kept happening yesterday) was sometimes a person's comment will post twice, but you can easily delete the double. Much better of a problem then a comment not posting at all. I also love the reply feature.

Congrats on the progress! Millie is quite beautiful. I'm not a cat person but I can see why you love her!

Sarah, thanks for the tip! I had been meaning to ask you about Disqus. I am going to look into that ASAP! For the next few days this new way I have it set to link to a different page seems to be working.

Tamara, thank you! She is only the second cat that has ever been in my life. My family has always had dogs.

Congratulations on that! That's awesome, and a huge weight off, I'm sure. :) I am thinking grad school and theses and me would not get along, so power to you! Stopping by through comment love. :)
